I do not know a lot about LN models, might i could add it to supported by FFB list?
Could you help me? Entering some commands in telnet, ok?
All what i need is link to official firmware upgrade file for your TV and output in telnet of this:

Code: Select all

df -h

Code: Select all

mount

Code: Select all

cat /sbin/update.sh
copy the output from console and paste here. Might you can use FFB too ;)

Another question is - is firmware downgrade needed for LN models at all, because if i understood correctly, alternative firmware is active and you do not get any UDN error while run "games" from ContentLibrary?
Make sure samygo patcher supports your firmware ( i do not know) at first. Just after manage to downgrade...
If here isn`t your firmware supported, i think we have to work hard with LN support...

P.s. Your TV supported by samygo firmware patcher, look at http://www.samygo.tv/ B series compatibility table. So you can patch and upgrade TV with patched firmware. Anyway, could you make a favour and help me to add your model to FFB support?

OK, many thanks!

FFB is based on /sbin/update.sh. If you get success flashing by ExLink, then please, write here about your success ;)
Yes i think your TV doesn`t accept firmware because of restrictions.
checked your firmware and update.sh, it seems you can use FFB too, but if you do not want to be the first, it is your choice, i understand you ;)

Could you please make dumps of /dev/bml0/2, /dev/bml0/3, /dev/bml0/4, /dev/bml0/5, /dev/bml0/6, /dev/bml0/7 and upload it to any public storage eg rapidshare?
Commands to use are here
(i ask you more dumps, because we do not know US models well).

Your kernel (bml5) is identical to LEB650T4W and it has disabled TOP debug menu - difference only one byte in 15C175
u-boot (bml2) and fnw (bml4) are totaly cleaned.

So, i add tomorrow support of your firmware version. You have two ways to upgrade with patched firmware - manual - decrypt images with python and flash it by hand over ExLink, or use FFB. It depends from you only now.
IMHO FFB is safer, but it hasn`t been tested on your model yet. You can restore u-boot with FFB and if you`ll get u-boot access after, you can add all other patched firmware/kernel files and start FFB again. u-boot, fnw and kernel i can give you. Firmware you have to patch by yourself.
Thanks for your help ;)

Do not forget dissable OTA function (online firmware upgrade), you get silently the newest back ;)
I did not understand much what did you do with firmware and patcher?
Could you get to TOP debug menu over ex-link?
Is u-boot available now ?
