Hello,
I am a new poster to this site. Thanks for letting me in.
I come from New Zealand and had some issues with my US50ES6200 TV and went into diagnostic mode and looks like I bricked it in that I cannot power on. I must have right arrowed over on the submicom entry and it got stuck in download mode for ages. After a while I had to turn off and can no longer power on.
It has the Weltek 61P805 micro on it and I think I must have blown the firmware on that. I believe I can push the firmware back in using postal2 and small bit of LS TTL logic to reflash.

My problem is that I cannot find any firmware files around for this TV. Anyone know if the submicom firmware is part of the USB firmware file you might download off Samsung which incidentally I cannot find any USB files off the Samsung sites anywhere? If I can extract the bin file I might be able to liven this TV up again.

Try to put firmware on usb drive and then let the tv turn on an wait. If you read the forum you can find some revive actions that has been taken. But in your case if you unplugged your TV may not work

Thanks, I am having extreme problems trying to get firmware downloads for that TV especially the NZ version. I will keep looking.
