I recieved a UE50J5150 on firmware T-NT14LDEUC_1042.0.
I got told it was on 1038 before. Now I just learned firmware updates are a bad idea.
Would it be possible to downgrade to 1038 again?
The latest download would 1042, but people shared 1052 two years ago. (for a UE40J5150).
But firmwares, at least for 1042, look identical. So, could I theoretically flash 1052 as well?
I also read about decrypting the msd files, but Im not deep into it for now but would love to know more about it one day.
I found 2 pythoin scripts on github already.
I also read about rooting and OSCAM, wondering if anything like this can be done to this old TV, if its worth it, or if I should leave it as it is, as it is already 7+ years old.
