UA40C5000 with firmaware TDT5DEUC WORKS!!!

Hello everybody,
I've discovered your project 2 days ago (when I bought my tv serie5 no internet@tv) and I would like to thx you all.
I've been able to hack it (using the Hacking C series in the wiki, which btw I would love to update for any other people that would like to do it, as it is lacking some info, ... ).
And I've mount my nas on the tv using cifs
So my media player is now useless...

you have got wiki editor permissions. Feel free edit wiki to make manual simplier.

UA40C5000 uses T-TDT5DEUC too as UE40C5000 ? Same firmware for different regions? Could you give a link to the page of that firmware?
It's not usual.

Anyways, I'm really pleased as my tv plays full HD file with 7.2 audio with no pb... My old media player had a choppy playing.

And yes it uses the same firmware for Australia/Pacific region as for Europe...

To have files on MP, create empty directory on your USB:
reboot TV.
