British tuner modal? What is that? I don't think if UK uses different frequencies than Europe. DVB-T is a standard. Also there is DVB-T2 available somewhere, I am not sure if UK use that. So that TV will work at EU.

Basic TV/radio services should work. Data services might not. DVB-T2 roll-out is some years away, but most TVs can handle MPEG4 HD, even though it's not used in UK.
