If you consider to hack your TV, you have to edit some files on Fat32 partition, because your fw is not included (here is msx6deuc, but it is easy to add msx6ausc too). If you want, i can do it for you...
Another wuestion is - does your tv have channel import/export menu under dishes (to ext3)? Because here is an tendency US models are being restricted and this is key reason of (non)hackability...
