thats normal. you are inside and you do nor need any passw. After # enter your commands

No, password doesnt changed if patched. But if you`ve chosen advanced "a" option in patcher, you don`t have telnet running on TV until you create custom startup file, called SamyGO.sh. All is explaned on wiki.
