Isn`t here a way to start DLNA server on your Mac? You could request native samsung share manager application for Mac from Samsung (i don`t know if here is such for this platform already).
TV should show pictures/movies/photos then w/o requiring any PCB buttons.
Yes, DLNA is buggy, but until we don`t have root access to that TV, we can`t use NFS or Samba shares.
