Hi,

I have been using my Android device as a remote controller to my D series TV. (using app named Samsung TV Remote)
Today I had to factory reset my Android device and then I re-installed the application.
Unfortunately, now it does not connect to my TV.
It reaches the TV but can't get authenticated.
The app says "authentication failed. incorrect TV menu settings."
It also says that I have to "allow" the device on my TV but when I check on the TV I see it already allowed.
How can I allow it ?

p.s: yes, I have already tried deleting the device from TV.

Do you tried SamyGO Remote Controller?

it does not work as well.
But the TV does not ask any approval to allow or deny.
where can I do that ?

I really need help on this. it was working before. Now why it doesn't work.

Since both products are belong to Samsung, it's not related with our hacks. I want to help you but I don't have D series TV at home to recognize your problem.
Do you ask this problem to official Samsung support too? What they said about the issue? Or they could say anything?
I couldn't help you since I don't have a TV from D series... But I am planning to buy one.
Might be some D series owner one could give detail about this issue and helps you soon...

It's good. And bad, because it might happen again.
Samsung doesn't learn to build bug free programs...
