Hi.
I have Samsung UE40C6530. I have read on forum, that C and D series TV doesn't need to be root. Is it possible to record the tv programs on external hard drive and decrypt them only through DRMdecrypt tool on the computer without need to install the SamyGO on Samsung TV ? I would be grateful for your help.

yes, this is true
i think DeSTRoi is more popular for decrypting
remember that your external hdd will be formatted with XFS so you'll need a linux OS to access the files

In samsung le46C650 works fine Pvr.
