Sorry but that is not a fault of us but Samsung. If we able to play movies with ported program like mplayer than it will solve all problems about movie playing. Since SamsungTV depended on using internal media player, there is too hard to achieve a development due closed sourced programs nature.

I think they will refuse you politely. Because If TV runs those, than they cannot sell media centers - blueRay players... etc.
Most people concern about no DTS or DTS-Passthru support. I don't think they add those codec too because of license fee might be...

But it's good to call those better than nothing...
