Streaming from Mediathek interrupts/stops

HI there,
I am watching content from german "ARD" or "ZDF", which is available via hbbTV.
Unfortunately, the streaming interrupts and stops, especially the sound is missing for a few seconds every now and then.
Is there a way to modify the streaming buffer etc. to avoid these breaks?
I can view the same content on my computer without any breaks. So I assume it is not a general bandwith-problem of my internet connection (unless the hbbTV would use a very different encoding resulting in bigger file size).
