What can I do next?
I can provide boot logs and anything else you ask for.

Yeah. Digits only. Wasn't expecting much.
Here's a boot/shutdown log. I probably won't try accessing Uboot/Onboot until I get a better idea of how to do so safely and interpret what I see.

And a pic of my cabling for fun...

Btw, I noticed that erdem just added MST5 to the patcher. Do you guys need help tracking down the MST4 key?

Yes... help is needed. Root device first
It is known, here is memory read/memory write options. You can play with it. I don`t remember exact way.

(Did you forget an attachment?)
Rooting might be difficult.
Hotel clone to USB is the only way to get a (partial?) channel list with my TV and it only has ethernet for firmware and DLNA. No SmartHub or Internet@TV.
Linux-friendly partitions on USB are also not an option. TV looks for RFS, FAT, NTFS only. Haven't tried anything bold with NTFS symlinks yet.

TOP required 2 commands

Also, KOR region gives me s***-ton of added stuff in Sub Option. I don't think enabling CI or PVR on a US-branded TV actually do anything though.

How about SquashFS? Since the TV uses it internally, it may also be recognized from a USB stick. And IIRC SquashFS supports symlinks.
Bur, if we ever get symlink support, would the hotel mode hack still work as we know? Does the D-series TV execute scripts from mtd_rwarea like the C-series one (hotplug script and start.sh)?

No luck with SquashFS mounted on USB. Maybe I'll give RFS a try when I do my next kernel roll. The TV definitely uses it, but I don't know if it will expect or permit it to be read from USB.
