Nice testing, I'm especially curious about the 3D functionality - I've heard some grumblings that the 6000 series had the necessary hardware already built in (I think 6000 is marketed in Europe as 3D ready, unlike here).

Anyways, about your question for the browser functionality - if you go on amazon and search for i.e. UN46D6000 and click on the first result, scrolling down will get you to a chart that lists the 2011 lineup and different options/features they each have. Anyways, according to that chart, 6400 series does have the browser enabled (no Skype though) - maybe try changing your model number to UN46D6400 and see if that will enable the browser? It's worth a test just to see if the browser included is any good - I've seen a lot of people complain about it in other threads/forums.... plus if it's installed as a widget, maybe you could dump it using samygo and install as user widget

Well you could try what zeuser did above - change the model # on the tv to 6500 and your Skype functionality should be enabled.

After you run TVcommunicator, you have to press ok on the TV screen, because it asks you to allow it (or smth else). Just then you be able to use this as expected.
