Re: Philips Pronto 3speed & factory remote hex codes
GOOD NEWS!
I've found the attached program (for MX-700 universal remote) which contains a huge database of ir codes.
Browsing the database, i realized that the device "HLN467W (00016A)" contains 2 interesting codes: "3-SP" and "FACTO"!
They should work on our new D-series TVs.
Now we need to extract/convert this codes from the database to use as we wish...
Anyone can help!?

Re: Philips Pronto 3speed & factory remote hex codes
EVEN BETTER NEWS!!!! (MAYBE BEST NEWS EVER )
I've found the whole list of all ir hex codes for Samsung D-series (here: http://www.mediafire.com/?zjgzvzzdnhz), but it didn't contain the name/fuction of every code.
So, I decided to try all of them to find the 2 codes we are looking for
I've focused my attention to the ones which make the "Not available" pop up box appear on the TV, since i tried pressing "factory" and "3speed" on ruSamsungTVCommunicator during normal TV, and they both make that box appear.
The info on this link: http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/mb ... d.cgi?6024, made my job much simpler, because the poster marked with "N/A" all the buttons which made the box appear!!
So i thought "factory" and "3speed" codes had to be among those ones! (which were only 10!!!! )
So i set the 10 codes marked with "N/A" on my remote controller (i use my Nokia N-95 + Psiloc irRemote as unniversal programmable remote ), opened the Service Menu on the TV and pressing one of them the SM disappeared and then, pressing another one, the SM appeared again!!!
So now we have the IR CODES FOR "FACTORY" AND "3SPEED" BUTTONS!!!
Here are the HEX codes:
FACTORY
3SPEED
If you need them in others format, just ask, i studied a lot too understand how ir codes work, so i think i can convert them for you
PS: The whole list of ir codes for Samsung D-series and the knowledge i gained about ir codes is from this awesome site: http://www.remotecentral.com

You're welcome, assm0de!

they could help you..
Anyway, i think you are using a software made for your universal remote...doesn't it have an option to import your own codes?
If you need, i can convert the 2 codes in lirc or other format, it depends on what format your software supports for importing...
