Skype on D5500

Does Model:D5500 Support Skype App Also i want to know if not support what's the reason? is that Maple Browser version?

I have in my samsung D5500 skype (user).

I would like to ask if someone are using skype on this type of TV and if yes how?

I tried to used but it doesn?t works

The D5500 series TV sets lack a microphone, unless you hack the firmware to handle a USB camera with microphone! ;) I find a web browser far more useful than Skype (which you may install on your smartphone anyway).

Virtually, it does. The D5500 series has a MIPS CPU and if someone writes the code (and if it isn't already written), it is possible to have a web browser. The problem is the D5XYZ series is rather an cheap one and Samsung does not want to spend more money than necessary on stuff like this!
