i'm new here...is there anything i must know about this model or this firmware : What kind of things i can do or not do with this model?

ps: well i tried the pvr trick...it worked but said me my usb key device is not supported to record or use timeshift.

Any idea about the pvr?

You can install widget, which runs SamyGO All Extensions. You can get samba/NFS shares mounted to your TV, ftp access and netcat shell. Not much, but hack is still under developing.

drive has to be 'fast enough' ...

If the performance test fails, you can download a nice little (Windows-based) utility from http://www.avforums.com/forums/15983370-post16.html to make the drive usable.
