It is up to you to believe AVG or not. I don't think here is any keylogger or any other harmfull code inside. Probably its because antivirus setting to watch potentially unwanted apps (like ruSTVC, which scans network for TV`s dlna signals).

i don't trust that pseudo activity of nowadays antivirus software. They have to show you that you really need to have it on board :D

My wxHexEditor program also identified as infected by virus. It's false positive. I use linux cross-compilation for generating the windows executable and compress it via UPX under Linux... But this doesn't mean if ruSamsungCommunicator is virus free.

More on the subject: I have noticed ruSamsungTVCommunicator uses the AutoIt engine. I have read about it and this engine is quite nasty! It is used by many malware programmers. Now I would like to know how ruSamsungTVCommunicator uses this engine! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find a decompiler. Yet...!

AFAIK the developer is quite communicative, so don't hesitate to contact him and ask.

And know that, Anti-Virus SW corporations are writing viruses more than any hacker, to sell their products...
That might also another why of why linux doesn't have viruses. Since we are using FREE softwares, no linux user will pay money for anti-viruses. So they don't write virus for Linux ;-)

I don't believe in those so-called AVG, they are so sensitive about the program. But when there is really a virus, it just sleeps.
