D4003@D5005 + Wireless adapter hack

I'm so disappointed
I just received my "EDIMAX EW-7718Un" for my d4003 changed to D5005 model (and also toD550).
I made the e2p hack, all went right but my TV doesn't recognize it.
The Network option into the menu keeps disabled even with the adapter plugged..
The led on the adapter doesn't even turn on...
So, I tried plugging it into my samsung bluray and it is recognized (even if it can't find my AP and make it crash
)
D4003 doesn't normally support ext-wifi but i thought that changing the model it should have accepted a compatible adapter...
I'm wondering if my firmware has the needed drivers (D4003 firmware is only used on D5003 and no other)...
Please help

You can enable wireless support in service menu first, just then (theoretically) network menu become active. Not sure 100 percent if it helps, worth to try.
As i heard, models *003-*005 are not SamyGO friendly and are more restricted than other. Sad.

I already set "ext-wifi" into the SM...but no luck..
Why it still doesn't get recognized?
Do you think it's
because of the lack of needed drivers into the tv firmware?
If yes, i thought to anlayze the firmware and compare it with the firmware for newer models (like d5005, d550 and others)
But firmwares are encrypted...
Can you give me the right direction from where to start?

i've tried decrypting D4003-D5003 firmware (T-MSU4DEUC-1007.2) using SamyGO Firmware Decrypter v0.01, but didn't work...
So i think there's no support for that firmware, right?
So, what can i do? How can i contribute?

You can look at the code and change mst to msu... inside the script. Maybe you're lucky

EDIT: i've found no occurences of "MST" into SamyGO Firmware Decrypter v0.01 script..
So i took "SamyGO.Firmware.Patcher.py" (v 0.30) and changed every onncurence of "MST4" in it, with "MSU4", but when executing it reports:

Error : Secret AES key cannot be calculated in this version of SamyGO Firmware Patcher.
: checked the script, and realized my mistake...so this time i replaced "MST5" with "MSU4" but still no luck:

Do you know if ex-link console has been unlocked on this model?
Is it the only way to help you rooting d4 models?

Yes, this use different key, but your error is because you left typos, also not latest script version was used.

Were you ever able to do anything with it?
I got UN22D5003, its just a bedroom TV that hardly ever gets used, it might get used more if there was more to it than just being a TV.
I successfully unlocked PVR on UN46D6900 today so Im feeling pretty good. I wish it was just possible to get wifi on D5003
