I have the same tv (equipped with Samsung panel 46?1UF7E) and have terrible vertical and horizontal banding (darker and lighter lines across the screen). I send it for repair, they told me that the replacement panel which came had the same issues. Finally panel of version 1 was put (made by AU Optronitcs) and now it is fine. It seems that some series of Samsung S-PVA panels are not good in terms of uniformity so please watch out when buying - bring yourself a usb flash with dark gray image to test for this issue.
