Is there any way to configure the timeout for the FTP session?
Having to re-login constantly is soooooo annoying... :(

Not even the developers - as authors of the ftp functionality - willing to give answer?

If you use Total Commander, you could set "Send command to keep connection alive" option on "Advanced" tab in FTP connection settings and set interval to 60 seconds.
I think other FTP clients also have such option somewhere.

the problem is not ftpd here it is the way it gets started via tcpsvd and there is no adjustable timeout, it is compiled in busybox. so no other choice than sending keepalives
