PLASMA TV Problems.

There is a major fault in Samsung Plasma panels.
Reddish purple banding is visible on white backgrounds.

You can test this by starting google maps app or video with white or near white background. You will see a 10cm (4inch) purplish speckled band across the top of the panel.
Samsung is providing some fixes.
There is a firmware update. ( They are sending this out to me on USB stick)
If this doesn't work - techs are increasing voltage on one of the circuit boards.
If this doesn't work panel will need replacing.

This fault seems to be occurring on Plasmas TVs' just over the 12 month mark.
If it happens to you tell Samsung it needs to be fixed under warranty.
TV's should last more than 5 years ( according to trade practices in Australia )
