Hey guys,
I just got a LE40D503 tv and opened up the service menu and while selecting type started talking to my house mate and I think i accidentally changed it to something incompatable? (complete douchebag i know) Now when I switch the tv on the menu is upside down and the colours are all weird and pixelated.

And when I open up the service menu again none of the buttons on the remote seem to work except the red on/off, and the service menu colors are also weird and upside down...

Have I just ruined my Tv or is this a fixable problem?
Thanks in advance for any help.

After a very stressful evening and morning, having thought I had locked the Service Menu, it finally let me change the 'type' in the options menu back to the original.

So everything is back to normal, thank god!

try with 40A1UF1E as lcd panel type for a LE40D503

I too managed to f*#ck up my TV. I am currently stuck at a greyed out support menu. Tried all the buttons of the remote and I cannot move or select anything. Any help will be apriciated.
