Samygo on T-GAS6DEUC-1017.1

I've followed the steps to install sammygo on this firmware (the first was to install sammygo in the classic way, and then I want to apply the hospitality mode hack).
The 2 widgets installed without problem, but when I try to run any of them, the screen turns black (as if the apps started) and then the app just quits.
Is this normal behavior ?
I wanted to ask prior to proceed with the hospitality mode hack...
Thanks.

yes that's quite normal behavior of the hack. The functions you have now is the virtual usb in your source list to get access to your shares.to get some more functionality you need to read the instructions to use the webif
viewtopic.php?f=21&t=3856 . with this you can install other widgets like moviemanager and so on on the webpage the webif serves you on your tv.
have fun
kind regards

This is normal behavior. It means - you still can`t run SamyGO widget. But if you check ftp on port 21 or netcat on port 1023 you understand - SamyGO is running.
EDIT: ocean was first

Very helpful people. I really appreciate it.
So why do we need the hospitality hack then ? If FTP, web is already working ? To start the 'servers' also when the tv is switched off ?

w/o hospitality hack you don`t have ftp/vusb/webgui and so on and so on.

I see now.
I had the impression that after installing SamyGo, the FTP is already working, without applying the hospitality hack.
