UE40D6510WS type service menu ?

Hi to you all,

A samsung tech came to my house to change the motherboard of my UE40D6510WS after it crashed during an automatic firmware update. Then I noticed that when I switched to 3D the picture went out of proportion so I called samsung back. The tech came back again and modifed the type of my screen in the service menu... then 3D was in the right resolution again but after he left I noticed that some on some channels I have some vertical black lines like the ones when you look at 16/9 plus I noticed some serious crosstalk that I did'nt had before they changed the mother board so I guess it's still badly configured and I'm pretty sure that it's the case since for example he put D6500 as model but it's a D6510 ! So I managed myself to put it on D6500 but I still need to figure out which type my TV is, and I don't know how to figure it out... following the wiki it should be something like 40??UF?E right ? Will I have to remove back panel to check something or is it possible to find it using serial number ? Do you think I have to change anything else in the service menu to make this badly configured motherboard fully working with my TV ?

Thanks a lot in advance

D6500 and D6510 are same models and difference is just external. If you get any problems then definitelly NOT because of model number in service menu.

I have had similar problems without wanting to change the type option in the menu Service menu option. Yo see 10 options:

Code: Select all

40A1UF4E

40A1UF7E

40A1UF6E

40P1UF6E

40P1UF3E

40L1UF0E

40P1UF0E

40A1UF0E

40A2UF8E

40A2UF7E
I don't know what is right. But you could test that. I do not know if it is dangerous

Hi, thanks to both of you for your answers. I've been looking all over the internet to determine wich type would be made for this TV.

A1UF4E (D6000)
A1UF7E (D6500 D6530 D6755 D6510 !)
A1UF6E (D6500)
P1UF6E (D6515 D6510 ! D6750 D6530)
P1UF3E (D6200 D6325 (D6000))
L1UF0E (not seen yet)
P1UF0E (not seen yet)
A1UF0E (not seen yet)
A2UF8E (D8005)
A2UF7E (D7005)

So I tried the types that I found for D6510 models and mine is 40P1UF6E.

In the end I realized that this technique viewtopic.php?f=24&t=3523&p=27022#p27022 is the best. I put a wrong type to try (as it seems to be safe), then I reboot to service menu, went to SVC, Panel auto setting, succed it and it automaticaly switches to 40P1UF6E.

Hope it will be helping someone, someday!
