Hello,

I use minidlna to stream from to my TV. Why sometimes I can see subtitles on the video files played via DLNA and sometimes not? Why dual audio is not supported in DLNA? Do I have a better alternative?

I am thinking to switch to UDP NFS. Can I loose in performance?

Thank you in advance

I am using Synology DiskStation DLNA server - dual audio is supported, subtitles must be in srt format - subtitles inside mkv are not supported by my TV.

Samsung LE40C530 (modded to C550 via service menu) with Firm T-MSX5DEUC-2009.0

Where can I get this Synology DLNA server to install it in my linux box?

You can't as it only runs on Synology NAS

TV and firmware are on my signature.

Which type of subtitles are supported in DLNA? Sometimes I see them...
