Still trying to get this to work.
Is there a way to tell if reseting the EEPROM has actually worked?

No, screen size doesn`t matter for 32-46inc. No idea about eeprom reset, possible, wrong chip or procedure does not help in this situation.

with out problems

holy crap I'm so excited I found this thread.
So I'm desperate to replace the mobo on ln42C530 with a C550 or higher. The hdmi's are shorting, among many other things....
Of course I would mod the back of TV to accommodate the extra hdmi, etc...
Do you have any suggestions on If a c550 or c560 board would work in this? Or any board?
It MUST be Internet capable, at least with USB adaptor....

short question about replacing mobo...i'm newbie so hope you'll be patient with me
so, this is what I own:
LE40C653M2WXZG
- with mobo BN41-01443
C, and BN94-03454Y
I've found a mobo from
LE37C670M1S
- BN41-01443
A, and BN94-02625
Can be used in my tv?
any remarks to be done?

Hello,
i have LE46C550 - exist for this model any compatible motherboard with T.VALDEUC firmware?
I have motherboard from LE40C650, but connectors not fit to C550 back panel. Thats why i dont tried install it.
