Hy! I hope you might help me. My TV is LE40B652 and when I watch movie on my USB key I notice that the sound is pretty low. Normally when I watch TV channels my volume level is up to 10, but when I watch high quality DVDrip or HD movie I have to turn it up all the way to 30. DVDrips usually have audio in 448 kbps and HD movies are in 648. Now do I have a bad settings? Plz help!

let me guess, you are watching mkv files with 6 channel AC3 audio?
i experienced the same issue and on research i found out that there are 2 possibility's.

1. The people who made the mkv`s used an old AC3 codec for encoding witch had an channel bug resulting in low volume.
2. Bad stereo downmix by TV.

neither of these 2 possibility`s is easy fixable...

get used to it like me...

Yes, when watching mkv files, there are 6channel AC3 audio. But sometimes a DVDrip movie sounds really awsome!

normal dvdrip`s you get from net 700-1400mb are not ac3, they are mp3 and only stereo.

thats not the issue here, i watch normal TV channels on lvl 5,
sometimes i get ac3 audio where i have to turn the volume up to 30 to get the same volume as on other/normal stereo files.

it`s definitely an issue of TV`s downmix or wrong encoded file.
