Yes it's linux but linux kernel it not working while your TV is powered of or on stand by...
So it doesn't mean anything if it uses linux, osx or win at this point. Computer system (basically your TV) needed to have BIOS RTC Alarm wakeup support like on your Computer...

Thanks for your feedback. As I see the issue isn't that simple and fortunately I'm not the only one who would find a EPG store function quite usefull. At hits point we can just lean back and chill until further ideas come up.

Unfortunately, there does not seem to be any progress. Most likely this must be a very complex issue. However, this feature might not me that interesting for most user, I gues :(

Your needing has 2 part. Saving EPG and while turning off. Turning off part already done since we could filter remote commands/detect specific key press...
But don't have idea how could we save EPG value. If we could find the structure and object name of where EPG stored, than might work on it.
You can also inspect your exeDSP for that, for looking EPG related functions on IDA. Might be you could found something.
