Flash for internal Web Browser?

I usually like to watch internet TV channels. But when loading the internal browser with the URL, it asks to update (or install) the appropriate Adobe Flash player. But this doesn't work since we get the extremely informational Samsung error "download isn't possible". There are various linux versions (*.RPM, *.apt, tar.gz etc) but I have tried all of them and none of them works.

What is surprising is that Adobe website recognize my system as "Linux 32-bit, Safari"! Safari!?? WTF, that's Apple!!
And apparently the "installed" version is:

Code: Select all

Flash player Version: 10.1.105.7
Your OS: Linux 2.6.35.13 (32-bit)
Browser: Safari
According to browser: VER.SGR0050.SGR0113.F1119E
However, it seem to think its Chinese as well...

Any suggestions on how to get flash to work?

I have just had the same problem. I note you have had no replies with solutions. Have you found a way to solve the problem ?

Thanks

NO, I basically gave up. I don't even know what browser they have compiled. (Is it really a Safari version??)
If we knew, we could probably just compile a new Adobe plugin from the sources... (But we need to know what to download in the first place.)

I'm still interested in getting this to work. Can someone please point in the right direction, how to get this going?

Do I need to recompile the entire browser or just some libraries (which)?
Where can I find the correct sources for this "weird" browser version?
