Hi to all,

I'm new to the forum. I need to clear a couple of things up before proceeding to brick my TV.

I have a CI+ model (LE40B650T2P) which seems to have a T-CHLCIPDEUC 2004.1 firmware (from the service menu). Browsing the wiki and the forums, I did not see this particular version mentioned anywhere, so my question is: do I have to upgrade it to one of the newer versions? Or can I proceed with the reverting/rooting/patching/bricking from here?

No, you don`t need any upgrade. moreover, if you do some ugrade to the nevest firmware, you`ll lose ability to use SamyGO.
Your firmware is ok and one of recommended for your TV.
