UK firmware on NA tv ?

Hi,

I'm trying to get BBC Iplayer working on my North American Samsung Smart Tv with no luck and someone has said it may be that the NA firmware is not compatible. I switched over the UK location and downloaded the apps and ITV Player works.

Can I USB a UK firmware to the NA TV to see if that would work ? Is there any risks in doing this as I obviously don't want to brick the TV :)

If this is possible could someone post a direct link to the correct firmware to make sure I get the right one !

Thanks

You haven`t said tv model, firmware name and version. Hard to tell it wil or it will not.
I have had flashed T-GASAKUC (NA firmware) on mine natively T-GAS6DAAC running TV, also checked T-GAS6DEUC too and no brick :)

The procedure is risky, but i think it is possible. THe question is - do you get wanted goal by changing firmware, perhaps functions are blocked by ip? (geotaging)
