Hello

I have a Samsung PN58B860 with 1018.1 firmware running atm.... I would like someone to guide me in the right direction so I can get the correct SamyGo firmware for my tv. I do not know much about the process of installing it but I came across samygo after I contacted samsung looking for a reason why there firmware is almost 3 years outdated!

I guess your current firmware is T-CHU7AUSC -1018.1.
This firmware is recent and latest, released by samsung and dont expect any new updates. Support of B series tv`s ended years ago. Same for C series too, they stopped to release new firmware updates as soon D series came out.

If you plan to use SamyGO on your TV, you have to downgrade first. You can use FFB tool for that. AFAIK T-CHE7AUSC-1017 or 1013.1 are proper firmwares to downgrade to.
Here is no SamyGO firmware. SamyGO is just pack of extensions to original firmware.
