UE46ES8000 many setting menu items disabled

Hi all,

I'm completely new to Samsung TV's and I've just received UE46ES8000 that was made in Slovenia most probably for the East/Central European market.

When I go to the settings menu to adjust picture/sound settings, I see that many "more advanced" menu items are disabled (gamma correction, rgb correction, audio equalizer, virtual surround effect, etc. ).

Is there a way to enable them? Should I use secret menu options that are discussed in the forum?

Thank in advance,

Serg

Is your TV in shop mode?

No, I've run the installation wizard and the tv is in home use mode

Found the problem. Apparently if you change the settings to other than "standard", some of video or audio menu items get disabled

you should never use "standard" nor dynamic nor natural.

You all should just use FILM and calibrate the tv using AVS HD 709
