Half screen after LCD panel change

Hi, I've recently had the LCD panel in my D6100 changed due to dead pixels. This was the 2nd time this had happened in less than 12 months but as TV was under warrenty I did have an issue with keeping the tv.

After the first time the panel was changed, I had the exact same problem that when I tried to watch 3D content, the entire picture was shrunk into the bottom half of the screen. After a bit of research I entered the service menu and tested the "auto panel settings" which changed from failure to success and the problem was solved.

This time, update to auto panel settings is not possible, as in it stays at failure? Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is or how else the issue can be resolved?

Thanks in advance and merry xmas!
Robbo

Perhaps you need to change type? You should get same model`s service menu settings and compare.
BTW, have you tried to do factory reset (in service menu?)

Tried the factory reset in service menu, didnt make any difference.

I've also cycled through all the 40" A1/P1 UF*E models but again, didnt fix the fault?

Any other suggestions? :(

Finally solved this issue. Should anyone have the same problem in the future whereby the auto panel settings wont update and they have half screen 3d, I checked the panel serial number (taking the tv apart) and got the corresponding panel code (40a1uf4e for my panel), entered this code and hit factory reset. Apparently, you have to factory reset for the tv to register changing the panel type code to 40a1uf4e as I had previously cycled through every 40" code with no success.
