Rooting

Hi,
I now own 2 tv sets from the E series and i'm wondering what are the benefits of rooting my tv and will i be able to apply samsung updates afterwords?
I should also mention that i rooted my samsung galaxy s2 phone and i'm happy about it.

You should spend more time for reading what is SamyGO extensions. Here is no short answer to your question.

The wiki has nothing for the E series and i'm not looking for a short answer just some useful examples.
Furthermore i want to know is it worth it to update the samsung firmware or will i lost the ability to root in the future?

Yeah i have an UE40es5700 but the SamyGo Wiki hasnt enough informations and in my oppionion the wikipage needs an update
I dont know how i can root my Tv and i dont know how to install the extensions.I forget something or why i cant find any tutorial ?

The community perhaps? starting with the people with the most knowledge.
Can you at least point out the people who are working on improving the the hacks?

im on 2004.1 firmware for my es8000
it is fair to say imho that if u dont understand the process or wiki u wont need root
does that answer ?
