I have a UN46C6500 and it has a 3.5 mm jack that says exlink. Is this the port i use for a ex link cable or do go through vga port.

yes, this is your exlink - stereo 3.5 jack. If usb-ttl cable won`t work, i guess you need simple B series-like exlink cable (Some USA models already have ttl converter module onboard. )

Don't think TTL module on board. When I hook up windows can't find driver for it.
