Samsung la40d503 firmware upgrade

Hi,

I have a samsung la40d503 on firmware 1004. And wanted to play movies via usb. I tried changing the model via service menu but can only see 2 options in there the ld503 and ud5003. I was thinking that maybe when I upgrade the firmware I can see the 550 or 5005 option which can play movie on usb. I have already found a firmware for my tv on samsung UK site and i have it on my usb, but when check on the remote by pressing menu there is no "support" option. I saw on sone site that by pressing menu on the remote you can select Option>software upgrade and it will start scanning usb for firmware installer.
Any idea guys On how can I upgrade my firware.
