Hi, I am trying to turn on the TV via an MC3 on the 3.5mm service port, I have created a MAX233 circuit and I can control most functions of the TV. The command that is not working is Power On or Power Toggle when the TV is Off.

Is there some kind of energy saving setting that I can deactivate so that the service port is alive when the TV is off?

The port is set to UART and Hotel Mode is off.

PS, I have upgraded the FW and now the TV thinks its a UE40EH5500.

Here is no "sleep" mode to fire TV up from standby trough exlink cable. At least here wasn`t on C/D series. But on B series we could power device up by "P".
btw, could you share your experience in controlling TV trough UART? :)
