Hi all guys and congrats for your amazing work. I`ve just received an HT-E5500 home cinema as a gift for my birthday and after i readed so many times all your help file, i`ve managed to downgrade fw from 12 to 11 with DNS trick.
Now i try to install SammyWidgets but on my BluRay player i cannot find "Go to Settings (blue or (D))-> Development -> Setting Server IP"
Anyone know how can i enable netcat/ftp services for my device?

P.S. I have downloaded Samsung orig fw B-FIRHT7WWC_1012.5 and i can patch dspexe file for what i need. But i cannot upload file to my blu-ray player because i cannot enable ftp and shell access.

[LE] I have decrypted original firmware, patched exeDSP and now i see that last step it`s hardest step for this moment. I cannot find a solution to root my device and enable netcat, ftp services.

If I understand your post, you have a cinavia patched B-FIRHT7WWC firmware. I have a similar device (HT-E4500), and it's needthis firmware. So, if i right, your firmware is cinavia free patched? If it's yes, can you upload anywhere? I should to try upload it on my device! THanks,

Hello fukudix.
I don`t have patched firmware for my device, i have just patched exeDSP file. I cannot encrypt my firmware with patched exeDSP beecause Samygo.pytell me that is "Not supported in public release, too dangerous!!!"
For now i`m trying to install Sammy widget to my device for enable netcat and ftp services. After that should be easy to upload modified exeDSP file and modify user.sh script to bypass original exeDSP and use patched exeDSP.

I haven't got enough knowledge to do that exeDSP thing, netcat etc... So I will wait for a patched firmware But, thank you!

Yes, but you cannot do anything with it because you don`t have any working method to enable netcat and ftp for uploading pathed file.

I know, but if I have the firmware, maybe I can try it!

It`s not working in that way, believe me. Don`t try something too risky to brick your bd.
