It's quite similar to Google mapas. You make a search with it?s virtual keyboard and surf the map.

I also started a new widget this January but discontinued it because I have too many other things to do.
The widget lists the next public transport connections from a selected station. It uses the HAFAS database of Deutsche Bahn. The DB knows all lines in Germany and allmost every in Europe but some things are missing (for example, the spanish FEVE railroad company is missing).

Is there any (more easy) way to install such Yahoo widgets on TV? Let's say by copying them manually to TV?

You can install widgets to the TV manually. You need to copy the whole directory structure of your widget in the WDK to /mtd_down/widget/data/Widgets on the TV. Inside this directory, you need to make at last an entry for it in the file widgets.db. It is a SQLite database that can be edited if you have the necessary ODBC driver installed.
But is this way really easier?

many thanks for your advice!
Probably, it would be easy if some application will be written which will do it automatically (so, user will insert USB drive with widget and that application, will go to Content and will run it - in result that gadget should be installed). Need to have a look closer to this.
Btw, don't you know where non-Yahoo gadgets are installed on TV? (for ex., for Russia we have other gadgets, which are not Yahoo based)
