Problem with Downgrade for UED6500

Hi everyone,

as I noticed, that I have to make a downgrade to use the root methods for my TV, I found this forum.

Unfortunately, I havae some problems to to the downgrade. My actual firmware is "001018". I used this tutorial: (viewtopic.php?f=22&t=4199#p32144). I set the shown IP via dev. account, restartet my TV and checked for updates. But I always get a network connecting error. Do you have any idea, what went wrong in my case?

Sometimes factory reset does help. BTW, you dont need to start network testing, just skip this procedure (it will always fail with our DNS) and go to firmware upgrade menu.

Factory Reset helped.

I was able to install the SamyGo application, but it seems that it does not work for me, or I am doing something wrong - if I try to start it via smart hub, it tries to connect, the screens "flickers" two times and I am again in the smart hub menue, as before, and no application started (the same with the ChannelInfo application)...

Flickering means - you`re on wrong firmware version. Are you sure you`ve dowgraded? What firmware version is now on board?

It seems the same as before, the 001018, hmm.

If I use your given IP and try to "update" to downgrade the firmware, then I get the message: "there is no update available". The v.001018 seems to be quite annoying.

So you did not downgrade and widget won`t run properly.

Allright, so I try it again.

Correct me, if I am doing something wrong or if I am missing something. Following this link (viewtopic.php?f=22&t=4199),

- I go to smart hub and set the ip to 149.154.159.134 via dev. account
- TV off and on
- check for updates

That is exactly, what I did, did I miss any step, as my TV still says "no update available"?

PS: I repeated all steps. When I use the sync. option, the SamyGo application installs again. Without it, update in menu dissapears, whyever...
