Dear Forum,
I bought this TV recently from somebody and would like to gain root access. Could you please let me know if I can perform hacks on this TV to gain root access. I am willing to spend as much time as needed to get this to work. Attached is picture of the details from the Service menu. Thank you for any help!
Thanks!
-S
(In case if you noticed, I had this question posted earlier in Firmware section, but then I realized it must be a generic question to begin with, hence it is here)

as i see, this is US version of C750. AFAIK we do not have users confirmed hack/interest on US version.

Hi juuso, you are right, it does not say we have to enter the extended service menu.
But what I am missing is where do punch in the dns values. Because I go to the settings tab in the the Internet@TV menu, and I don't see a network setup option, i can reset the InternetTV settings but it still remembers my network. And on the service menu I don't see any place when I can punch in dns values. Can you guide me a bit more here.
best!

Check in the network settings in the main menu of the TV. Just set manual configuration and set the DNS you need.
