Hi,

I have rooted PS51D8000, which I downgraded to 1015 firmware due black level issue with Plex.
What I would like to achieve is to keep 1015 FW, but update ?Youtube on TV? app.
At the moment Youtube is old version (1.012, last Update 2011-07-21), that don?t keep login information.
I heard updated version of the app has this problem fixed. Could somebody help me out with this issue.

thanks for any help on this matter.

I though youtube is a widget and you can upgrade it independent from firmware version, or?

Well... this is my thought as well, but update through TV menu wont work with downgraded FW.
As I'm quite novice regarding Linux and specially with Samygo and rooted TV I'm quite stuck here. Whatever I do I do with support from forums and internet in general.
My questions regarding this issue actually are:
1. Where exactly "youtube on TV" widget related files are stored?
2. Can this widget be changed to updated version manually?
2. Does somebody have updated version of "youtube on tv" available?

ideally would be super if somebody could give quick tutorial what files needed to be changed to change this widget to updated (better) version.

PS. this topic has a mention (and files I donwnloaded) of new updated version: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=4549&hilit=upload+youtube
