Hi,
I'm just buy the new 55F6300 in Viet Nam. I would like to change region to EU or Italy UK in order to activate DVC-C tuner, however in the Region, I have only some Asia, American contry and these regions only activate DVB-T tuner. So I need to change the firmware to UK or not? and how to change the firmware? (I tried to use USB update with firmware from UK but not successful) .
I used IR to extended Service menu. Could you please advice ?

i`m scared you can`t do this on your UA region firmware... You could try each available region though, but i bet this leads nowhere.

I also have a UA version by changing the name of the folder on the USB key, the TV see it as an update and ask me if I want to use it for update, however I didn't dare to continue, do you know if I risk to brick my TV doing it?

In SM, i see two version of firmware
T-MST12UABC 1008.1
T-MST12DEUC 1009

So do you think I can try DEUC firmware by rename?

1. i don`t think that TV will accept this firmware (or if accepts - will stop upgrade after checking)
2. here is high risk to brick.

if your tv is under warranty, you can try...

Could you pls post your SM in F serrie (UE firmware) and actual tuner in UE ? it's the same SI_ADI?

In Debug ->Tuner Status is DVB
DVB-T in Poland MPEG4 works fine in samsung tv
DVB-C also works fine

Thanks for your info. I go to Samsung website in Poland but the latest version of firmware is 1107.4 so do you update firmware by internet or USB ?

I was updating software online via TV menu
the samsung website is version 1107.4 and once it is installed on the tv show 1109 (T-MST12DEUC-1109)
I have no idea why there are such differences in terminology
people after the installation ensure that the version displayed in the SM as T-MST12DEUC-1109
