Hi i have just purchased a UE50F6500 from pixmania and it is a neteherlands model, can i change the country to the UK in the factory menu so the tv stations are as in the uk?

hi all worked ok, just loged in to the service menu and it allowed me to change it to EU_UK all works great

Just wondering: my TVs are set to german (due to HbbTV), but I do watch a lot british channels on Astra 28,2?
Unfortunately EPG data for all british channels do only show current and next program... will I get full EPG data if I change the TV setting to UK?

No, you won't. You'll only get "now" and "next" from Eutelsat/Astra 28,2?.

So I then guess it's not possible at all on Samsung TVs to get more EPG data...
I probably need a special british receiver to get full epg data via internet - just like on my NAS via DVBLogic & Digiguide

Yep, it's very disappointing, that the channel providers on Astra 28 don't supply their costumers with neat EPG data.
On my STB's I receive EPG data via rytec/internet.

Did you do it with the IR Blaster method with FACTORY+3SPEED_inv.wav ?
Or was it possible to do it because menu already enabled ?

I'm on the way to buy a 40F8000 (not Italy code) and I see that there mught be issues with country code and smarthub apps.
