Hi guys need some help over here. I have es6200 model. I have recently bought pioneer htz 424 home theatre. I am trying to get audio out from tv to speakers l. I hae tried connecting hdmi cable (hdmi port 2 ACR) and switched sound setting from internal to external speakers but it still doesnt work. The hdmi cble is fine as I can play video and audio from dvd player but its not giving me sound from tv. Seems like I need to go for some other cable connection. I am attaching the back of both tv and dvd, can you guys suggest me an alternate. Sad that dvd player doesn't have digital audio port.

You could connect "micro" (TV) to "AUX" (Components input on your home theater).

Just ask for a "Stereo 3.5mm" (f.i. microphone output) to RCA cable like that: http://www.cablewholesale.com/products/ ... -01160.php

I got this already today, he gave me same. I inserted it in the headphone jack. Still no use.

It is the only possibility, cos you don't have an optical input on your home theater. Maybe you should try another cable?

Well that solution worked actually but not hppy with sound quality cz I think headphone jack has low output.

Update: I sold my pioneer home theater, now want to buy a new one that supports audio out from tv to speakers. Is http://www.samsung.com/ae/consumer/tv-a ... T-F455K/ZN this a good option. 1000Watts with HDMI ARC available. Not sure about digital audio out. Any other suggestions? I am looking within $300 range.
