I am A Spanish Guy living in souther Sapin and its a dreadful disaster that all UK TV channels have been turned off from my region. I am a huge fan of UK reality shows and now its a nightmare that i cannot watch them. But I recently found out that VPN can overcome the problem. Is it true that VPN can help?

yes, the bbc moved from their temporary sattelite Astra 1N to the new fixed home on Astra 2E which has a far more focused beam on the UK, we have the same problem here in Germany.
on my Notebook i use a pptp tunnel (vpnforuk.com) and it works fine for iPlayer.
for TV we have AFAIK only basic openvpn support but i haven't found a suitable vpn server in the UK yet, for the vpn service that i use on my notebook we would need more software modules for TV but atm there is no one having the time to build these...
