Hello everyone,

First post here, so I'v to say first, what a nice a project !

I'v got a practical issue: as a Netflix customer (via unotelly), I would like to be able to upgrade to something newer than 3.10501 to get profiles support!
I tried lots of Smart Hub locations (adapting also the unotelly settings in //), reinstalling, but nevertheless, I'm stuck with the 3.10501 on my UE46ES6530.

The TV is running the firmware T-MST10PDEUC-2000.2, BT-G.

Any idea how to force a manuel upgrade of the Netflix app on this TV/firmware? Would SamyGo widget help me?

First uninstall US Netflix, change region to UK and download UK version of Netflix. After that do not upgrade app and you will be fine. Enjoy

I already tried that, didn't worked.

Netflix is autoinstalled as a mandatory (top five bar) app you can't uninstall. So I just set the region to somewhere Netflix isn't available, it's gone, then I set it to UK, I get 3.10501 auto-installed and not upgradable.

Any other idea?

Side note: in about smarthub it says the version of the smarthub is 4.6021-5.0

I also have the same issue using an ue40eh5300 suck on the 3.10501 version of netflix. new firmware just came on the market but it did not help (version 2000)

I would like to get an updated netflix version as well (>3.*). I need that profile support .
I already tried switching the store-region, but it seems that all regions have the same version of netflix.

I have an ES5700 and I was wondering if any Model out of the E-Series already got the update...
If so, we could try copying the widget from a that Model (using ftp for instance).

If someone has a netflix version with multiprofile support, please upload the widget for us...

Here, just unzip and put into user folder. Do not update app. If you just overwrite original app then you must edit line <ver>3.10501</ver> in config.xml with last version number.

As mentioned we need a version which is newer than 3.10501.
3.10501 has no profile support.

Sorry to bump this... Here in May 2015 I still have no sight of an updated Netflix app. I called Samsung support today to ask what's going on, and they claim that because my TV in particular is three years old, that's too old to update the netflix app even though the smart hub has to update just about every week. They did say that some mysterious update is coming out in a week or so, perhaps for the Netflix app?

Meanwhile, has anyone managed to get an updated version of the Netflix app on their TV?

Same problem here, UN40ES7000, 2012. No updates so far, no profile selection...
