Hi everyone,
I just bought a Samsung UN50EH5300FXZC TV.
From my research this indicated that it is
U = LED
N = North America
50 = 50 Inch
E --> it is a 2012 model (although on my tv it says manufactured in 2013).
H --> it is the H series or from what I Found
EH = Hybrid LED Model VERSUS ES Slim LED
FXZ = just random manufacture information
AND
C = manufactured for Canada.
However, even based on this I cannot figure out whether there is a samygo firmware that is compatible with my TV, can anyone give me a hint or point me in the wrong direction? The only thing I find on samygo wiki is for Samsung ES (Slim Led) which seems different from the EH (hybrid led). Thank you all so much.

I have EH

Everything in samygo works for EH (well almost everything

Hi, after I enter through the service menu this is what I see in terms of what I think is the firmware:
T-MST10PAUSC-1037.1
T-MST10PAUSS-1004

Hi sectroyer,
Based on this firmware:
T-MST10PAUSC-1037.1
T-MST10PAUSS-1004
What samygo page do I use for rooting, is it this?

I had one last question, is it ok to, IF I root, to run software update, I ask because sometimes these software updates come with newer features, correct? Or is it that I need to run software update before I root or after, or I shouldn't run it at all? Thank you very much (I guess I mean to ask is "
Software Update" the same as "
FIRMWARE UPGRADE", and if so, then how do u get the new features that samsung implements if you are rooted? Using Samygo patches?

Do not "update software" at all, you may definitely loose root. Anyway, Samsung never implements new features based on firmware upgrade, even less on old TVs...
